It is located on the right bank of the Douro River, halfway between Régua and Pinhão, near the village of Gouvinhas.
Quinta da Basilia covers about 30 hectares of vineyards with different solar exposures. The vines have an 'A' classification (the highest in the Douro Demarcated Region) and are between 30 and 100 years old.
Grape Varieties: Viosinho and Rabigato
Tasting Note: Made with Viosinho, Rabigato, Sauvignon Blanc, and Alvarinho, it has a citrus color, with an elegant aroma of citrus fruits and mineral notes. In the mouth, it is very fresh, balanced, with a firm structure and vibrant acidity. Fine, intense, and complex, it ends long and delicate.
