The liqueur of Ginja M.S.R. is produced in Alcobaça by hand-made process exclusively from the best quality fresh sour cherries, from the Leaf-to-foot variety, hand-picked in the western region of Portugal, namely in the geographical area corresponding to the former Cistercian lands, where edaphoclimatic conditions unique, characterized by a temperate and humid climate due to the influence of the sea.
Of unique quality, it gathers in itself the knowledge, the ancestral tradition of the Monks of Cister and the exceptional quality of the fruits of the regions of Alcobaça and bordering. It is absolutely natural without artificial colorants and preservatives.
