The grapes come from vineyards in Alvarinho and Loureiro located in their terroir of excellence, respectively the Minho river valley and the Lima river valley in granite origin soil.

The grapes, exclusively from the Alvarinho and Loureiro varieties, are harvested manually in small capacity boxes. After pressing, the must is decanted for 48 hours, followed by fermentation, at controlled temperature, using yeasts pre-selected for this purpose. Bottling takes place after the wine has stabilized and is followed by ageing in the bottle.
