Vodka is referred to from the word Vodka (meaning water in Slavic languages). It is usually distilled from barley, corn, wheat, rye, herbs, figs or potatoes. Vodka, being a pure distilled drink, has a neutral taste, distinguishing it from other alcoholic beverages. It is one of the drinks with the highest alcoholic content in the world, around 40%.
